Discover Nooks is a travel guide focused on the small towns, coastal villages, and quieter corners of Europe that often get skipped in favor of the big-name destinations. We write about the food, wine, hiking trails, beaches, and local culture of places like Croatia’s islands, Puglia’s olive groves, Crete’s vineyards, and the back streets of Provence and the Algarve.

Our guides are built around practical, on-the-ground detail: where to eat, what a hike actually involves, which beach is worth the walk, and what to expect when you get there. We’d rather cover one town properly than skim across twenty.

What we cover

Right now that means food and drink, outdoor adventures, and culture and history across Croatia, Italy, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, Montenegro, and Malta — with more regions on the way.
